Amboseli National Park famous for its views of large elephants herds is located 160 miles from Nairobi. It offers stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. As well as its famously photogenic elephants, Amboseli is also home to heavyweight predators like lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah, as well as their prey such as buffalo, giraffe, impala, zebra, cheetah, giraffes and antelope.
Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephants, rhinos, Hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Visit attractions such as Mzima Springs to watch the hippos bathing underwater, visit the Lava flows and caves for geological interest; explore the caves, or hike along with the lava flow.
The cliff faces in Tsavo West offer some of the best rock climbing in Kenya.

Itinerary

Day 01 :
Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport and meet your professional safari driver guide. After briefing, depart for Masai Mara with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for panoramic scenery and photography. Continue via Narok town, then proceed to Sarova Mara Game Camp for check-in and a hot lunch. Later enjoy a short cultural interaction with the local Maasai community. Witness a magical African culture before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :
Full Day in Masai Mara

After breakfast, set out with picnic lunches for a full-day safari experience. Explore the rolling savannah and spot the “Big Five” along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous antelope species. Visit the famous Mara River, the crossing point during the Great Migration (July–October). In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner, optional sundowner or bonfire, and overnight.

Day 03 :
Masai Mara – Extensive Game Viewing

Enjoy another day dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara Reserve, renowned as one of Africa’s finest wildlife sanctuaries. Early morning and late afternoon drives give you the best chance to see predators in action. Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari (extra cost) or Maasai village visit. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 04 :
Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru. En route, you may opt for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha (extra cost). Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in the afternoon, check-in and relax. Have a short evening game drive at Lake Nakuru National park and later Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 05 :
Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

This morning, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to endangered black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebras, and an incredible variety of birds including flamingos and pelicans. Later, drive to Lake Naivasha and check into Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Spend the evening at leisure with dinner and overnight.

Day 06 :
Day 6: Lake Naivasha (Hell’s Gate) – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park where you can walk, hike the scenic gorges, or enjoy cycling among wildlife (optional). Later, depart for Amboseli via Nairobi and the Nairobi Mombasa Highway. Arrive at Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 07 :
Amboseli – Full Day Game Drive

Enjoy a full day in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Morning and afternoon game drives offer close encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and abundant birdlife. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 08 :
Amboseli – Nairobi

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli. Capture last photos of wildlife against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro before checking out. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
